This happens every year, and every year the metroplex acts like it’s the end of life as we know it. (myself included). This year feels particularly bad because every bit of the white stuff is ice and sleet.
This amounts to over an inch of ice. covering everything in sight. Even the poor grass wasn’t spared.
Mom and I ventured out for lunch today and found ice covered everything. Trees, grass, tires behind an automotive shop.
Our birdbath was even full of ice!
And our poor bear! I don’t know if you can tell, but there’s at least a half an inch of ice covering him.
Brrrr! I think we’re going to stay inside until this passes over! I don’t know how people who live up north (like Canada) live in this. So cold and so slick!
