When we went back to Vienna the night before our flights home, we left Budapest without eating any lunch. By the time we arrived in Vienna (mid afternoon), I was starving. After dropping our bags in the hotel, we hurried off in search of lunch and drinks. We found a wurstelstand and decided that was perfect. I got a käserwurst (cheese sausage) in a bun.
This was such a great light lunch. As you can see, this sausage was monstrously larger than the bun. The skin was perfectly crispy and the cheese was ooey gooey and delish. I wish this was more of a thing in America.

Word of warning: watch for exploding senf (mustard)! I didn’t realize it was going to come out of the bun so quickly, and got mustard all over my dress. Good thing no one noticed!
