who doesn’t love trains?

We set off for Budapest after an unremarkable lunch at Akakiko in Austria and one last stroll around town. (Not that we won’t be back in two weeks time for our flights home or anything…) After some confusion about stations and platforms, we found the right train that was going to Budapest.

The train from Vienna to Budapest takes about 3 hours and was a pleasant journey.

Aside from the occasional building, it was mostly countryside that we drove through.

“Exit”

We arrived in Budapest just at suppertime. We settled into the flat we’d rented and went out to an amazing supper at Pesti Disznó. More on that later though!
